Welcome to Kingswells House

Steeped in tradition, Kingswells House stands in beautiful woodland grounds in Kingswells off the main A944

History has it that King Charles stopped here for a drink from the well at the front door, thereby giving the present Kingswells area its name.  Although predominantly always a family home, it was once also a secret Quaker meeting house during the 17th Century.  Today it is owned by the Summerland Trust and they have lovingly restored it back to its former glory.

The house and grounds are now used for the progress and encouragement of spiritual awareness for all. Courses, lectures and demonstrations are offered by leading Tutors in their field from both UK and abroad.

Kingswells House was gifted to the Summerland Trust
(a charitable trust)
by the loving kindness of Clark Findlay, a man with vision who was the nephew of Arthur Findlay.  afc2.jpgArthur Findlay bequeathed Stansted Hall, "Spiritualisms College" in Essex to the S.N.U.

Whilst upholding the ethics and philosophy of spiritualism, the Summerland Trust aims to embrace
ALL spiritual and religious traditions, realising an affinity to the whole.

I just want to say a massive THANK YOU on behalf of our group that came up on 5th/6th October.

The professionalism and treatment we received was second to none from your help, service and professionalism with the booking, to Ben and Merry's most excellent hospitality and food, and the lovely warm welcome and care we received throughout the weekend.

Everyone was wonderfully helpful and this is the most organised and professional course we have ever been on.

Leah Bond also was the most wonderful teacher and a very lovely person.  I cannot praise Kingswell House highly enough.
Once again thank you for everything and we sincerely look forward to visiting Kingswell again in the future.

I have attended many courses at Kingswells House over the years and always find an element of peace on arriving and a deep sense of contentment on departing.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Kingswell House on a few occasions for seances and most recently for a weekend course. Every time I've visited I've been made to feel welcome and at home. The weekend course and the seances have all been professionally organised and well run.  The accommodation and food are truly wonderful, well worth my round trip of 400 miles. The Findlays are no doubt proud of the Trust and their work! My sincere appreciation to the Trust and volunteers.

What can I say about Kingswells, I could go on about the peace and tranquility, with all that beautiful energy that you just want to sink into. I could tell you about being taught by some of the best physical, trance and mental mediums in the world, yes you heard right in the world. I have been to Kingswells several times over the last two years, and the first thing that hits you is the feeling of coming home. The tuition is relaxed but professional, and the seances that I have sat in have been amazing. Each seance with either David Thompson or Scott Milligan, has left me in awe. I already have my next course booked, and can't wait to see my friends again. Kingswells with Eileen Davies at the helm can only go from strength to strength. Good luck for the future x

"Situated in the nest of a forest where wild deer and great trees reside, I found kingswell house to be a warm place to relax and learn in the company of great teachers. In this family atmosphere all skills were cared for, as we met like-minded people on similar paths of unfoldment. No greater drink can a man sup, than that of another spirit on the same path of unfoldment. With these two mixes in mind, one can only grow from the innards of the spirit, as teachers and students come together in a loving atmosphere. An experience I must do again. Thank you.

I have been on several courses and always found the tutors very helpful and encouraging.  It is such a lovely place to learn and meet new friends.  Whether you are quite experienced or just beginning to take the first steps on this path, you are always made to feel welcome and valued and the small groups are fantastic for this.
